About PESITSouth ACM Student Chapter

The Association for Computing Machinery is an international learned society for computing. It was founded in 1947 and is the world's largest scientific and educational computing society. It is a not-for-profit professional membership group. A Student chapter serves as a gateway to forums, panel discussions, and symposia that further a student's professional development. Preparation and presentation of technical reports and papers and cooperative efforts on research projects allow students to test their technical expertise.

PESIT South ACM Student Chapter was started in 2007 by the Computer Science Department of PESIT South Campus. We also organise workshops, seminars and a couple of amazing events like inGenius (annual) and the Pursuit (bi-annual Online Treasure Hunt)!
